I'm looking to find out what DnB scene Portsmouth has so I figured this would be the place to start. Where are the weeklies? What clubs are on point? Who are the local DnB up-n-comers? Open decks in any lounge anywhere? Whats student union life like here? We got any record holes?

Oracle, interesting name. I must appologies for not replying sooner, its that time of year, too much uni work i'm affraid. I may not have all the answers to your questions but i will answer what i can. There were weeklys in a bar called its all good, although i am non the wiser as to wheather they are still running. Mostly there are only monthlys. The three largest events running are Alchemy, Break-neck and Vurt. Although the most consistent out of these has been Break-neck. As far as clubs go, well the clubs are not on the point, its more like the people who promote the music. To be honest there is not really a great venue, although the existing places which host the events do supply a satisfactory... Student life down here its pretty easy, lots to do, go out etc. Although the union can get a little monotonus if you go there too often, hence where the dnbsociety comes in to change things. Groove finder and hands on are the two record shops that come to mind, they're based in southsea. There are probably a few other scattered about, but as i don't purchase vinyl, i'm not aware of them. As for up-n-comers, well the most recognisable would have to be Raiden. Then there are a whole host of other DJ's who spin at most of the events here. It's a tight nit crowd of people, they all generally know each other. Most of them drop into the www.dnbforum.com which is run by one of them, SDM. Check it out, i think you should be able to find the answer to most of your questions there. Take it easy....
